One of the biggest things my couples can expect from me is communication that feels clear and intentional. I stay in touch at different points in the planning season so that by the time the wedding day arrives, you feel prepared instead of overwhelmed. 

That support includes: 

• Check-ins 12 months out, 9 months out, and 6 months out by email (or during your engagement session)
• I’ll send you a detailed questionnaire 2-3 months before your big day to help me build your wedding photography timeline (which I share with you two weeks before your wedding date)
• Final wedding day details 1 week pre-wedding so we’re all on the same page and you know I’ve got everything covered 
• Sneak peeks just 1 week after your wedding
• Full gallery about 8 weeks after your wedding to relive all the magic of every moment

A lot of couples book me because they love the final images, but what often surprises them is how much guidance I give before we ever start taking photos. Before the wedding, I help you solidify timeline planning and shot lists. On wedding day, I help direct family photo flow and the in-between pieces that make the day run more smoothly. 

I know most couples are not used to being in front of the camera, and I never want you to feel awkward or unsure of what to do. During portraits, I step in with enough direction that you never feel lost, while still leaving room for genuine moments to happen naturally. I will guide you through posing for wedding photos in a way that still feels natural and true to your relationship. I’m always paying attention not only to how things look, but also to how you feel.
